La Cooperativa del Campo "La Unión" AB fue fundada en 1956, por 15 viticultores, que con el paso de los años y tras sucesivas ampliaciones ha conseguido agrupar a mas de 2.200 asociados con los que cuenta en la actualidad. Situados dentro de la Denominación de Origen LA MANCHA, en la localidad de Tarazona de la Mancha, provincia de Albacete a una altitud media de 650 metros sobre el nivel del mar, tiene un clima totalmente continental, con veranos cálidos, inviernos muy frÃos y poca pluviosidad, que con muchos dÃas soleados le confiere unas condiciones climáticas muy favorables para el cultivo de la vid. Las variedades más cultivadas son: BLANCOS: Airen, Macabeo TINTOS: Cencibel, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Garnacha, Merlot, Syrah, Bobal. Las Técnicas más avanzadas de fermentación controlada por frÃo, la microoxigenación, para mejorar la evolución de taninos, las fermentaciones prolongadas en vinificadores horizontales rotativos, para extraer del hollejo la máxima cantidad de sustancias y los depósitos de acero inoxidable, son el complemento perfecto a nuestros lugares tradicionales y a las barricas de roble americano y francés, donde en la profundidad de nuestros cavas, con las optimas condiciones de humedad y temperatura, se realiza la crianza de nuestros vinos. Hoy en dia la actividad de la cooperativa se divide en Cinco secciones: Bodega, Almazara, Cereales, HortÃcolas y Suministros AgrÃcolas.

The facilities are equipped with the most advanced manufacturing techniques. We have pneumatic presses, horizontal and vertical self-emptying winemakers controlled by temperature and oenological practices in all fermentation processes and maintenance, built in stainless steel. With 900 farmers associated with a potential of 4,500 hectares of vineyards producing 25 million kg of grapes. White wines are made from the varieties Airen and Macabeo, while the red wines, which account for 60% of total production, are made from varieties: Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Bobal and Garnacha. Since 1998 we have a bottling line, to bottled 700,000 litters of wine, under the brand names CASA ANTONETE, NÉGORA, CUNIÓN and VALDEMEMBRA for domestic and international markets.
WINERY

OIL MILL
It is the only section of the Cooperative with a local character, and composed by 1,400 associates originating an annual production of 400,000 liter of oil, developed entirely as extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality, and which is commercialized under the name of VALDEMEMBRA.
CEREAL GRAINS
This part of the company is formed by around 400 members, where the objective is to store and commercialize different varieties of corn, barley, wheat and legumes grown by its members. Reaching a volume of 10,000 tons.
There is also a drying corn facility, with a production capacity of 12,000 tons. of dried corn.
HORTICULTURE
Created in 2005, this section consists of about 40 members. For storage and marketing of various types of horticultural products such as onions and broccoli. Using calibration systems and packaging of onions.
